First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange Texas

Instead of a sermon this Palm Sunday, our Chancel Choir will be presenting the Lenten cantata "In Calvary's Shadow" by Victor C. Johnson.  This beautiful cantata invites the faithful to experience Jesus' journey from betrayal through Crucifixion wiht a tightly woven tapestry of Scripture readings, choral anthems, and congregational singing.  Accompaniment will be provided by instrumentalists Ruth Connelly (cello), Ian Schroeder (saxophone), and Miles Gillette (piano/organ).  Narration provided by Shep and Oliver Gunn.
